Most of the wine grown in Chorey-lès-Beaune is bottled as ‘Côte de Beaune Villages’, an appellation that allows several villages to blend their red wines. However, Domaine Tollot-Beaut is proud of their village and the classic expression of Pinot Noir that it produces.
This wine is smooth and generous with penty of both red and black fruit, warming earthiness and depth of flavour. Lots of red cherry, floral notes and fairly coarse tannins. The wine has spent 18 months in French oak barrels. A very good food wine.
