A very elegant Burgundy fom Gevrey-Chambertin in the North of the Cote de Nuits.
This is a superb wine with a ruby red colour and plenty of red and black fruit flavours, namely black cherry and blackberry, mild spice and leather moving on to damp earth and mushroom toward the finish.
This wine has spent up to 18 months in French oak before bottling, and has lovely balanced tannins. Ready to drink now, but can also be cellared to enjoy in years to come!
